Aaron is currently involved in the Medtronic/REMEDI Workpackage 5 (Cell Therapy and Angiogenesis for Peripheral Vascular Disease). His current research focuses on the efficacy of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) and Ephrin B2 expressing MSCs therapy using a murine model of hindlimb ischaemia. He is also interested in the role of Endothelial Progenitor Cells (EPCs) especially in the diabetic setting and non-viral approaches for efficient MSCs transfection.
